Willow Whips, Kits & Cuttings delivered during
December, January & February

Cuttings

We offer the listed varieties of willow in bundles of 10 cuttings
as 10 inch long UNROOTED cuttings
(taken after leaf fall and before new fresh growth commences) for delivery during December, January & February (these root easily when planted directly into the garden in winter, however, we recommend that you prepare the site in advance ).

The thickness of the cuttings varies according to the variety - all root readily.

PRICE :  £7 per 10 of the same variety
plus postage and packing - £2.50 (whatever the size of the order)
Cuttings are sent by First Class Post.
 

Long Willow Whips

As well as Living Willow Kits

we also sell long whips of Salix Viminalis “Bowles Hybrid”
for making living willow structures and sculptures
of your own design.

Long whips root just as easily as the shorter cuttings.
Lengths (from butt to tip) available from 6 ft to 9 ft.
(Lengths may vary up to 4 inches from the nominal)

6 ft long £1.20 each
7 ft long £1.40 each
8 ft long £1.60 each
9 ft long £1.80 each
         Minimum order for long whips £20

Bundles of 3 to 5 ft lengths of ‘Dead’ Willow : -
(Salix Viminalis “Bowles Hybrid”)
Suitable for ‘rough’ weaving, say, around living structures, borders etc
(not a variety considered to be basket weaving quality) or, as they are
fresh cut, for small living willow sculptures etc .   Bundles are approx
9 inches in diameter at base and contain several hundred rods.

Carriage Charges

All of these kits and bundles have to be sent by a specialist carrier
because of their length so we must ADD £15 PER ORDER to cover
this cost to UK mainland (excluding parts of the Scottish Highlands)

We can arrange delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands,
Northern Ireland etc too but the carriage charge will be higher, also,
slightly higher charges now apply to the Isle of Wight.

  Longer lengths (up to 12 foot or more)
are also available if you can collect!
